Pic 2Randy Kanipe, B.S., M.Div., Th.M.
Rev. Kanipe is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and has 20 years of experience in ministry and coaching. Rev. Kanipe also holds a Second Degree Black Belt in the discipline of American Karate and Kenpo. He has taken the tactical strategies as taught in physical self defense, and translated those into practical systemic and Biblical responses to attacks upon clergy. His unique ministry was recognized in 2008 when he was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of fame for his work with clergy and congregations.

John Ashton
, M.S.
Mr. Ashton is a lay member of the Episcopal Church and a licensed counselor. His professional practice has been dedicated to helping people from all walks of life, but his passion is for clergy and their families. Founder of the National Prayer Network, Mr. Ashton leads and sets up prayer networks for clergy, who link up with one another all around the nation. He is an avid Sailor and licensed Captain with the U.S. Coast Guard. So he knows how to navigate the perils of 'stormy seas.' Fear not!

Rev. Dr. G. Lloyd Rediger, Ph.D.
Dr. Rediger is an ordained Presbyterian Minister whose practice is in both congregational leadership and counseling of clergy. Author of the best selling book, "Clergy Killers," Dr. Rediger is a much sought after speaker and conference leader. His work spans more than six decades working with congregations and clergy. Among other publications, he has also authored "Fit To Be A Pastor" and "Toxic Congregations."

Rev. Dr. Jim Powell
The late Rev. Ron Weinelt was the originator of the association for battered clergy, along with Dr. Powell. Over the years, the name of the association has changed, but our focus has remained the same: Providing help and hope for clergy under assault by memebrs of their own flock.

Together, Dr. Powell and Rev. Weinelt worked with and coached Rev. Kanipe, who became director shortly after Rev. Weinelt's death.

Rev. Kanipe has been working 'underground' with other clergy for years and is now trying to take the association to the next level with internet exposure. The site statistics reveal more and more, the fact that 'Clergy Killers' are a growing problem for pastors in all denominations and in many congregations.
